Im here!

I haven’t disappeared into the blogging wilderness!

I had a very hectic week last week and it was a bit of a nightmare at times too! It didn’t start well as I had a nasty fall at work - thanks to my colleague who didn’t clean up some spilt drinks properly. So basically my legs went up in the air and I landed on the tiled bar floor with a bit of a crash, in front of customers too. So embarrassing but mainly painful, I wanted to cry!! I had a lovely swollen hand and lots of bruises!
They had to sack the barman at work too (nothing to do with my fall!) so I was working all the time to cover him which was very tiring but I am looking forward to getting paid next week!
Im working every night this week too, that includes all weekend as its valentines! Even worse my husband and the girls are going away this weekend with his family I couldn’t go as it’s the busiest weekend at work! So I will be on my own all weekend, no romance for me then!

My very thoughtful hubby did buy me an early valentine pressie though ... he saw me looking at this watch in a magazine the other day and ordered it for me!

I love it as its nice and chunky. It’s a copy of the very expensive 'toy watches' but it was only £20 from Oasis and they do them in a rainbow of colours!

I got this cute little tee from eBay this week, it’s from topshop originally.

Beth and Issy love it too as they say it looks like the owl from Sleeping Beauty?! hehe! twit twoo!

I have a voucher from topshop burning a hole in my pocket and I was thinking of getting this cute little jumper......

What do you think? And how would you wear it?

Oh and just a funny story ... I caught Beth singing away in her bedroom the other day she was singing 'fight for this love'. I said to her 'do you know who sings this Beth?' (I was going to tell her it was the lady from x factor as she loved that!) She said 'yes mum Cheryl Cole' all casual! 'Oh who told you that Beth?' 'Miss Statham (her teacher) this week she has told me about Cheryl Cole and The Three Billy Goats Gruff'

Brilliant. How education has changed! haha!

  2. Poor nets!!! I wondered where you'd ran away to, slipping about on a floor, what you like. Hope the hand is feeling better?

That watch is lovely! Paul has good taste, and at £20 bargain.

Beth is cute, and story time has changed a lot since I was at school!
